His clinical training includes an internship at The Cambridge Guidance Center, and he has extensive experience in hypnotherapy and mind-body psychotherapy.
As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Lea has worked with individuals across the lifespan—including adults, adolescents, and older children—as well as couples and families. His practice focuses on treating depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral challenges, and relationship dynamics.
Philosophy of Care
The foundation of effective therapy is creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Carl Rogers was among the first to emphasize these core principles, which have been reaffirmed throughout my 50 years of exploring various psychotherapy approaches. More recently, I have found that tele-psychotherapy affirms the essential elements of Client-Centered Therapy, offering the same depth of connection and meaningful change—now with the added benefits of safety and convenience from home.
