I have been in practice for over 20 years and work with those 25 years and older. I am a former teacher and have advanced degrees in education from John Hopkins University and in pastoral counseling from Loyola University-Maryland.
I specialize in treating those with anxiety disorders (PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Panic Attacks) in addition to adjustment disorders, loss/bereavement, and transitions. I also have extensive experience working with those who have lived with domestic violence and sexual abuse/assault.
I have been trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help clients have a better life in the present by not being plagued with regrets from the past and fear of the future.
